The four rooms
- Home
- Recent family memories and recently created person pages, including pages without memories. Saved work and replies are further down, for people who organize the archive.
- People
- A simple list of the people in your family. Open a name to read their memory page and follow their family connections.
- Memories
- The photographs, voices, letters and stories your family has kept. Search or filter by person, date, place and format.
- Add
- Owners and editors can save a memory, create a person, invite someone or add a record. Invited contributors see the people they can add memories to.
The More menu
More has Organize for replies and saved work, Research & records for sources and tree imports, Print & download for owners, Client work when enabled, Family settings, and Help. Open People to explore the family tree, places and tours.
On a phone, Home, People, Memories, Add (when available) and More stay along the bottom.
Search the family
Search family in the top bar (or ⌘K on a Mac, Ctrl+K elsewhere) finds people, records and memories by name, title or caption. Choose a result to open that person or item. See all results opens the full search with People, Memories and Records tabs and next-page links.

Lighting and the account menu
The sun-and-moon button switches the archive between Night, the ink room shown in these walkthroughs, and Daylight, the same rooms at noon. The first visit follows your system setting; one press flips it and the choice is remembered on this device.
Your portrait at the far right opens the account menu: Account settings, the Client workspace for professionals, and sign-out. If you belong to more than one family, Switch family appears beside it.
