Record a storytelling session

   Step 1. Open Add → Record a voice and follow Plan or resume a storytelling session, or go to Storytelling sessions from a person’s page.

   Step 2. Give it a Session title and say Who is taking part? Choose Who is this session about? so the recordings attach to that person, and Who can hear the saved recordings?

   Step 3. Each Chapter is one question. Change the words, choose a Photo prompt from the archive, move chapters earlier or later, skip one for now, or Add another question. The interview questions guide has more to choose from.

   Step 4. Choose Save session plan. Plans are visible to editors and owners, or owners only if you chose that.

   Step 1. Open the session. Each chapter has its own recorder; read the question aloud, or let the storyteller read it.

   Step 2. Start recording, pause if the doorbell goes, stop when the story ends. A chapter can be re-recorded before it is kept.

   Step 3. Listen back, then add the recording. Keep the tab open until it says saved. If a recording cannot be added, download a copy first and try again; a device draft is separate from an original safely in the archive.

AI transcription is a separate choice after saving, available when AI tools are enabled for the archive. Read the transcript against the recording, correct mistakes and mark who is speaking. Corrections create versions; the original recording and earlier reviewed text are kept. A fluent transcript is not another source, so the recording stays the record.
