A new family starts a 30-day Family trial with storage and a small allowance of AI actions. One trial per account. Settings → Billing & access shows the plan, the period, usage this period and the two plans you can choose.
When the trial ends
Without a plan the archive becomes read-only: everyone can still read, and owners can still export. Nothing is deleted and no deletion begins. Choose a plan at any time to restore writing.
Family and Professional
Family sponsors one archive for a year. Professional is for people who run client archives: it adds a portfolio that several client families can attach to, the client workspace and handoff tools. Compare limits on pricing. Paid plans renew annually until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
