Create your family archive

Your archive is private from the first minute. You do not need dates, documents or a finished tree to start; one name and one memory are enough.

The Family trial needs no card. If you already have an account, use sign in instead; relatives who were invited or asked a question sign in with the same page.

Name your archive

After signing in you arrive at Make a home for your family story. This one screen creates the archive.

  3. Step 3. Choose Create my archive. The archive is saved at once; if the page reloads or your connection drops, the same screen lets you continue rather than creating a duplicate.

Find your place in the family

If you chose Build my family, the next screen is Find your place in the family. Adding yourself is what lets the app say how everyone else is related to you.

  1. Step 1. Enter Your given names; the family name and birth year are optional.

  3. Step 3. Your family view opens with one name and the note Your story starts here. The person is on record but not yet joined to anybody; that is expected.
