Create a memory page for someone

   Step 1. Choose Create a memory page on the homepage, or start here. At Who is this page for?, enter Their name.

   Step 2. Life details are optional. Choose whether they are living, have passed away, or leave this for later. You do not need dates or a biography.

   Step 3. Choose Continue with this person, then enter your email or phone. Our Story signs you in if you have an account, or helps you create one. Their name stays with you while you verify your account.

   Step 1. At Let’s make their page, check their name and the trial terms. Choose Create their private page.

   Step 2. When you see Their private page is ready, you can Add a photo of them (optional). The photo upload happens after sign-in so it stays within your private archive.

   Step 3. Choose Open their page. You can return to add a portrait, dates and details later.

A family archive is created around the page so you can add relatives later. You can rename the archive in Settings. Setup remembers your progress, so a reload lets you continue rather than creating a duplicate.

On their page, choose Add a memory. Share a photograph, write a few words or record a voice. The person is already selected, so you do not need to file the memory again.

• Save your first memory: a photograph, a written story or a voice.
• Invite a relative to read the page or contribute a memory of their own.
• Add the people you know when you want to connect the generations.

Already have a family tree? Bring a GEDCOM file. You can also build your family or set up client work. These paths let you name the archive first; adding yourself to the tree is optional.
